Handmade contemporary piñatas, made from banana packaging boxes to honor our campesinos.

Traditional crepe paper adorns the tops. My original cholo lettering and illustrations tell different stories on each piñata. The piñatas are suspended from fishing line to give the illusion that they’re floating.

Over 70 piñatas were made varying in sizes from 4”, 6”, 8”, and 12”. This piece was exhibited during Palomitas de la Revolución 2023.
