The Hyde Parkside was a celebration of Inglewood artists and its neighbors. It took place November 11th, 2023, at Nation’s Lab in Inglewood.
The show took place during Inglewood Open Studios Art Walk. Jorge ‘Thriller’ Gómez was accompanied by fellow artists Selena Najar, Andreina Giron, Josie Macias, Eric Lopez, Oto Abasi-Attah, Victor Zuniga, Schessa Garbutt, Eric ‘Keeps’ Negrete, Uli Barajas, Onel Ordaz and many more. An interactive booth by Cultural Treasures of South LA was present at the event.
Throughout the day, there were spoken word and music performances by Dérly, Carnation Contreras, Nai Ya Maji, CJ Auguste, Dion Cardell, Lumar Perez, Maya & Alex.
Food and beverages were provided by Aguas Locas, El Paraíso, Chews Pizza, and Tortas Ahogadas El Aguila. Artisans will be sold handmade crafts and prints. A percentage of profits were donate to The Robinhood Program, a non-profit supporting under privileged youth in the martial arts.
